Facilities at Guinevere

Set in a secluded gated mews in the heart of Tintagel village, Guinevere is a luxurious barn conversion, formerly part of an historic hotel. The cottage is very quiet yet only a few seconds from Tintagel's shops, pubs and restaurants. Guinevere sleeps 2 adults, one child and a baby (travel cot and highchair provided), bedlinen/towels are inclusive, it is centrally heated throughout and has unlimited broadband/WiFi. Due to the high standard of the property we regret that we cannot allow pets or permit smoking on the premises. Every thought has gone into making the accomm­odation as comfortable as possible and your holiday a truly magical experience.

Kitchen / Dining Room

A barn door opens into a spacious and modern kitchen/dining room with a tiled floor and an attractive solid oak table, seating six. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, and a full range of crockery and cutlery.

Utility Room / Cloakroom

Adjacent to the kitchen is a large utility room with a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, ironing facilities and additional food storage. Leading from this is the downstairs cloakroom with WC and washbasin.

Living Room

With a serious 'wow factor', the living room is simply stunning, with a high vaulted ceiling and attractive curved stone fireplace. An open tread wooden staircase leads to the mezzannine level. The room is beautifully furnished with two large sofas and a selection of attractive coffee tables. A large flatscreen television, DVD player and surround sound system supply entertainment.


Once the Minstrel's Gallery, this enchanting space lies high above the lounge below. Arrayed with the original beams, the large mezzanine bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and ample storage and hanging space. Leading off are the attractive modern ensuite bathroom, with bath, handshower, WC and washbasin, and a second bedroom with a single bed, separated by a curtain.


A small gravelled garden extends along the whitewashed walls of the property and has a barbecue and seating. A few yards away lies the car parking area with far reaching open rural and coastal views and horses in the adjoining paddock. With very little traffic from nearby properties this gated area is safe and secure.
